All About the NORA Adventure Club

We are all about learning, adventure and fun. Our goal is to offer multiple events per year that will give members family oriented opportunities to:

  • Drive their vehicles off-road in varying locations, in a controlled, safe and organized manner. Focus will be placed on beginner to intermediate level skill sets & trails;
  • Give back to the community by participating in veteran and other charity related causes and events;
  • Meet and interact with great people with similar interests;
  • Meet and learn about local businesses

What You Can Expect/Examples of Club Events

  • 2 day Annual Camp & Wheel event held locally in the Hudson Valley
  • 2-3 day camping and off-roading in Vermont
  • Guided trail rides at Rausch Creek/AOAA
  • Meet & Greet events held at various local business locations/eateries
  • Annul Club Charity ride that includes collecting donations for a local children's hospital along with food for a local food bank
  • The Club consists of various vehicle types including: Jeep Wranglers/Gladiators, Toyota 4Runners/Tacomas, Ford Broncos/Rangers
  • The NORA Adventure Club proudly subscribes to the principles of Tread Lightly! For more information, visit Tread Lightly!
  • The NORA Adventure Club is a member of the Northeast Offered Vehicle Alliance http://nova4x4.org which is an alliance of local clubs in the Northeastern United States.

Club Membership Requirements

In order to be eligible to join the NORA Adventure Club individuals must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Operate a street legal vehicle
  • Carry the minimum amount of auto insurance required by the their licensing state
  • Have successfully completed at least one of the full day off-road driving classes (example: Offroad Driving Essentials) offered by Northeast Off-Road Adventures.  If you have not yet taken a class, please visit http://nora4x4.com and register for one of the all day classes.  We would love to have you!

Club Dues

Dues are $45 per year/per family.  We ask that dues are paid to the Club's PayPal account: http://paypal.me/NORAAdventureClub

Club Meetings

The Club meets at least 4 times annually at the Northeast Off-Road Adventures facility located at 23 Tempaloni Road, Ellenville, NY. or via Zoom/conference call
